Evaluates thermal comfort change of the passengers with the application of dynamic thermal comfort indexes such as relative warmth index (RWI) and heat deficit rate (HDR) based on the measured data of indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity of Xian Metro Line 2 in winter and summer. Analyses the variation characteristics of thermal comfort of passengers from outdoor to underground double-layer island station hall and platform floor. The results show that the measured air conditioning temperature and humidity data in the underground railway station basically meet the requirements of human thermal comfort in summer, but the RWI value changes greatly during the process of entering the station hall floor and then entering the platform floor, which may cause thermal discomfort of the passengers. So the operational temperature in the underground railway station should be properly increased, and at the same time the energy can be saved for the environment control system in summer. Passengers basically feel thermal comfort in winter.
